Odisha Government increases additional leave for female employees to 12 days

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered an increase in additional unpaid leave (CL) entitlement for women employees of the state government.

Female employees will now be able to avail 12 days of additional CL, which is an increase from the previous 10 days provided. This leave will be granted taking into account the period of menstruation.

The newly increased 12 days of CL can be availed at the rate of one day per month and will be available in addition to the existing 10 days of regular casual leave and 5 days of special casual leave.
