Josh Addo-Carr’s VERY revealing post after cocaine scandal has put his football career on life support

  • Winger linked with move away from Canterbury
  • A 29-year-old man tested positive for cocaine during a roadside test.

Soccer star Josh Addo-Carr took to Instagram on Wednesday to re-post an inspirational quote from the movie Night at the Museum.

The NRL star has been heavily linked with a move away from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in recent months.

It comes after a 29-year-old man tested positive for cocaine during a random roadside drug test in September.

The trial took place a week before Canterbury’s defeat to Manly in the final on 15 September.

The winger maintained his innocence throughout, categorically denying he had taken a banned substance, but ruled himself out of the game.

After the incident, he agreed to a fine from the police and a suspension from driving.

The NRL confirmed the infringement notice was served on the winger almost a month ago.

“The National Rugby League (NRL) today issued Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs player Josh Addo-Carr a notice of breach of the NRL Code of Conduct,” the NRL said.

“Earlier this month, NSW Police issued Addo-Carr a ticket for the offense of having a prescribed prohibited drug in the oral fluid, blood or urine of a person while driving a motor vehicle.

“The infringement notice alleges that Addo-Carr has committed acts contrary to the law and brought the game and his club into disrepute.”

Josh Addo-Carr has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bulldogs this summer.

The Canterbury star was offered a four-match ban and a $15,000 fine as part of a breach notice, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The publication also claimed in September that the rugby league star may be “unable to offer Addo-Carr a new deal” and the Sydney Morning Herald now claims the Dragons have expressed interest in talks with Addo-Carr.

And in a revealing Instagram post, Addo-Carr may have dropped a major hint that he may be looking to move to another NRL club.

On Wednesday, he shared a video of his story from Instagram user @rotquotes depicting a scene between Ben Stiller and Robin Williams from Night at the Museum.

Williams tells Stiller, “It’s time for your next adventure!”

To which Stiller, who plays night shift security guard Larry Daley in the film, replies: “I have no idea what I’m going to do tomorrow?”

Williams responds, “How great!”

It is also understood that Addo-Carr has been spending some time with his family in recent weeks, with Michael Karayiannis explaining to SEN radio last week that his partner Lakari Smith is close to giving birth so he has been “putting things on the back burner”. A little.’

Addo-Carr posted an interesting video to his Instagram story on Wednesday that could provide a hint about his future with the Bulldogs.

It comes after general manager Phil Gould called on Addo-Carr to decide where his future lies.

“I was talking to his manager the other day and all I asked the manager and Josh to do was think about their own future, what they thought was best, (and) for him to sit down with his family. and discuss think about what happened,” Gould said.

“I like Josh. He brought great benefits to our club and was certainly a valuable asset for us. Unfortunately, he continues to let himself down in this regard at various times.

“I want him to think about what’s best for his future and then come back and talk to me.”
