From 1 November to 31 March, on-street parking is prohibited in Wellington city centre.

WELLINGTON CENTER – The Township of Wellington Center reminds residents that from November 1st to March 31st, on-street parking will not be available from 2am to 6am daily.

The city says a municipal ordinance prohibits overnight on-street parking so employees can keep the roads clear during the winter season.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is enforcing this law under the Highway Traffic Act and the Township says vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

As of November 1, the city’s parking law prohibits on-street parking from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
