The dress has been called a must-have item for the upcoming festive season.

This party dress is exclusive to Savida at Dunnes Stores and is being snapped up by shoppers looking to make a statement at festive gatherings.

Available in sizes XXS to XXL, the metallic dress is perfect for special occasions.

But as party season approaches, this statement piece is already flying off the racks.

Designed to fit every figure, the Paola Metallic Dress combines a sleek silhouette with subtle shimmer.

Dunnes executives say: “This metallic Savida dress in a flowy silhouette is an eye-catching piece guaranteed to make you stand out this party season.

“It’s an ultra-feminine piece with a flattering V-neck, fitted cuffs and lime hem.

“Savida is available exclusively at Dunnes Stores.”

Featuring timeless long sleeves and a fitted silhouette, the dress makes it easy to transition from a small party to a more formal event.

Paired with heels or boots, the metallic fabric is ideal for reflecting light, making you an eye-catcher at any gathering.

“Dannes is going to ruin me,” says the fashion fan as she tries on the new jumpers – and one can be worn two ways.

Dunnes Stores paired the dress with black peep-toe heels for an elegant look.

However, he can look amazing with black knee-high boots.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive option for your Christmas party, this is a great choice for 2024.

Meanwhile, Dunnes has another dress that’s catching shoppers’ attention for a different reason.

The Gallery Tunic With Pockets retails for just €35 on the Dunnes Stores website and in stores.

And it becomes a fan favorite thanks to its special shape.

The perfect little black dress costs €130 less than the designer version.

The Odd Muse London version has a very similar style and structure, but retails for a whopping €165.

The Dunnes Stores Gallery pocket tunic costs just €35 and looks strikingly similar.

The €35 dress is available in sizes 8 to 20 and measures several inches above the knee on the 5ft 8in model featured on the website.

Although some fashion fans warn that the dress is a bit tight, so if you’re between sizes, we’d definitely recommend sizing up.

HISTORY OF THE Dunnes STORES

Dunnes Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street, Cork in 1944 and was an immediate hit.

Shoppers from all over the city flocked to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices, marking Ireland’s first shopping frenzy.

During the unrest, a window was broken and police had to be called in to help contain the crowd hoping to get founder Ben Dunn’s lucrative deals.

Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began selling produce in 1960, starting with apples and oranges.

The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunn again offered a better price than anyone else in town.

“Over time, our food selection has expanded and the spirit of good value has remained strong.

“We now offer a wide range of carefully selected food products from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”

The retailer’s first store in Dublin opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street, followed by a supermarket on South Great George Street in 1960.

They added: “Our first store opened in Northern Ireland in 1971 and many others soon followed.

“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain and then in Scotland and England.”

Dunnes currently has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
