    The “Monday Night Football” doubleheader will return to ESPN and its channels in week seven.

    The league and its MNF broadcast partner ESPN are hoping for a repeat of what happened in Week 6 of the massive AFC East matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.

    ABC and ESPN will again air two NFL games on Monday night. Much of each contest will overlap, so fans may have to choose whether to watch one game or use multiple screens to see all four teams in action.

    The fights should be interesting. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baltimore Ravens will meet in the opener, both teams are 4-2 and looking to stake a claim at the top of their respective divisions. In a later matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers, the two teams will look to prove they are playoff contenders in 2024.

    Who’s playing Monday Night Football today?

    Week 7 of Monday Night Football will feature two games. They are as follows:

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Baltimore Ravens

    • Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida.

    The Buccaneers (4-2) will host the Ravens (4-2) to start an ESPN “Monday Night Football” doubleheader. Both teams have started 2024 well and will be looking to continue that momentum.

    Tampa Bay begins Week 7 with an emotional and dominant 51-27 win over the New Orleans Saints. This will be the Buccaneers’ first game at home since Hurricane Milton left a path of destruction across the Florida area and state on Oct. 9.

    Tampa Bay will look to build on the momentum from their win over the Saints, where they set a franchise record with 594 yards of total offense.

    Meanwhile, the Ravens also head into prime-time action with an impressive win. Baltimore defeated the Washington Commanders 30–23. The Ravens have outgained their opponents 1,232 yards to 354. A big reason for their success on the ground is the addition of running back Derrick Henry.

    Entering Week 7, King Henry had eight rushing touchdowns and 704 rushing yards. Teammate Lamar Jackson has his sights set on a third MVP award early. Jackson led Baltimore to four straight wins and it was amazing. He leads the league with eight touchdown passes and has rushed for 236 yards during the winning streak. Baltimore ranks second in EPA per play and success rate per snap.

    Tampa ranks 10th in offensive DVOA and 13th in defensive DVOA. Buccaneers cornerback Baker Mayfield ranks seventh in EPA in rushing percentage and has used his elite receiving weapons, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

    Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Chargers

    • Location: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona.

    The Cardinals (2-4) and Chargers (3-2) will face off in a battle between two teams in the West searching for their identity. Los Angeles is off to a strong start under head coach Jim Harbaugh, allowing the sixth-fewest yards per game (289.2) while boasting a top-10 rushing offense.

    The Chargers and the entire football community were concerned about Harbaugh last Sunday when he abruptly left the field in the first quarter of a game against the Broncos. It was later learned that Harbaugh’s heart condition forced him off the field for a short time.

    Los Angeles is led by Justin Herbert. The 26-year-old is in his fifth NFL season and is returning to form after suffering an ankle sprain earlier in the season. The Chargers defense has allowed 4.2 points allowed in the first half this season, which is the lowest in the league.

    On the other side is a hungry Cardinals team desperate to get back into the win column. Arizona enters the MNF after a terrible 34-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. After scoring 69 points in the first two weeks of the season, the Cardinals’ offense sputtered and had scored just 64 points over the previous four games.

    Star rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion in Week 6, and his absence was clearly felt for the rest of the game. Arizona faces a tough task heading into Week 7 against a Chargers defense that ranks second in EPA per plays allowed and third in defensive DVOA.

    The Chargers run the ball at the third-fastest rate in the league. This key match on earth is worth watching.

    What time is the NFL game today?

    ESPN is staggering the start times for its “Monday Night Football” games. The games will overlap significantly, but will not start at the same time.

    Here are the start times for each game:

    • Buccaneers vs Ravens: 8:15 pm ET
    • Cardinals vs Chargers: 21:00 ET

    What channel is Monday Night Football on tonight?

    On Monday night, only one game will air on the two Disney-owned channels. Other Monday doubleheaders will feature one game airing on ABC and the other on ESPN.

    Monday night’s main game between the Ravens and Buccaneers will be broadcast on both networks. The Cardinals and Chargers will stream exclusively on ESPN+.

    The Monday Night Football matchup between the Buccaneers and Ravens will air on ESPN in week seven. ESPN’s simulcast of the game will air on ABC for fans to watch.

    ESPN’s “ManningCast” will be available to watch again in week seven. Eli and Peyton Manning will be covering the games from the comfort of their own homes on ESPN2, so viewers can watch them on that network if they choose.

    Cardinals vs Chargers

    • Streaming: ESPN+

    The Cardinals-Chargers game will not be televised nationally. The game will only be available to stream on ESPN+. The game is the first exclusive NFL game for ESPN’s streaming service.
