Ave Pangenitor Tour 2024 New Zealand

Zerstiren formed in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2007 from a contradictory mixture of harsh influences and disparate elements. Somehow the Whole was greater than the sum of the parts; The result is a dynamic mixture of melody, dissonance, crushing brutality and explosive technicality.

Core members Shane Mulholland and Chris Lewis on guitars and Frederick Bain on vocals are joined by a rotating cast of supporting members who have achieved a lot in a short time, performing numerous local and national shows, headlining tours and supporting the best of the best. culminating with the release of AVE PANGENITOR, a 52-minute opus of progressive death metal that received acclaim beyond all expectations.

Unfortunately, the realities and grind of life led to the band breaking up in 2011 and the band scattered to the winds.

Thirteen years later, the situation has changed and all core members now live in the same city. With bassist Rich Hebden and drummer Levi Sheehan on board, the stage is ready to get back to the music and see if the fire still burns.

Joining the sound of seasoned contemporaries, Pull Down the Sun toured New Zealand and Australia on their “Pierce the Sea” tour in preparation for the release of their upcoming single. After recently touring with The Ocean, these guys are ready to once again prove that they are one of New Zealand’s best and most promising acts in the current metal scene.
