The 11th District girls soccer tournaments are starting soon.

Nazareth is ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, while Parkland enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed. If the top two seeds can get past their quarterfinal and semifinal games, it will be a rematch of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference semifinals, which were won by the Trojans on a late goal.

With Blue Mountain in first place in Group 3A, Colonial League teams Bangor and Southern Lehigh are the two teams trying to knock off the Eagles.

The class 2A bracket is very interesting. Colonial League champion Northwestern is in first place, and EPC tournament winner Allentown Central Catholic is in second place. The two teams met in the last two district title games, with the Tigers winning both. Saucon Valley, which finished second in the Colonial League, could be a dark horse in the standings.

Moravian Academy, the six-time defending champion, is the No. 1 seed in the Class A tournament. The Lions will have to win a bracket filled with Schuylkill League teams to win another title.
